Description:

Our client, a leading name in Hospitality industry, is looking for Manager Finance for their Head Office in Karachi.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • To supervise, track & evaluate day-to-day activities.
  • To work with Senior Manager for developing and implementing financial strategies for the organization.
  • Should have an extra ordinary grip on Corporate Taxation matters and understanding on their interpretation.
  • Manage auditors and should be able to handle all core areas of financial services.
  • Monitor day-to-day financial operations within the organization, such as payroll, invoicing and other transactions.
  • Processes financial documents and data in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Analyze budgets on a monthly basis and reports status of each account.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Review of balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all reconciling items are cleared out each month where required.
  • Review of individual company cash-flows and consolidation into the group cash-flow on a monthly basis.
  • Preparation of a realistic balanced annual budget; controlling of expenditures in accordance with approved budget and proper management of funds.
  • Ensure the financial controls in all operational processes.
  • Advise the board on needed resources, facilities, capital and operating needs.
  • Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills as well as general accounting experience and knowledge
  • The ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
